GENERAL INFORMATION
The Greek Workshop is offered through UC Berkeley Summer Sessions and runs for ten weeks from June 10
to August 16, 2019. It meets Monday through Friday, in the morning
(approximately 9 a.m. -12 p.m.) and afternoon (approximately 1 p.m.-4 p.m.). No
previous knowledge of Greek is required. The course covers Greek grammar in
the first six weeks; the last four weeks are devoted to reading works of Greek
literature in the original. Full attendance is required.
By University policy, auditors are not permitted.

TUITION AND FELLOWSHIPS
The tuition cost, as determined by UC Berkeley Summer Sessions, varies depending on status (UC undergraduate, UC graduate student, visiting student). Details can be found here; please note that the Workshop is a ten-unit course. There will be up to eight fellowships each providing a $3,000 rebate from tuition costs. STEPS FOR REGISTRATION
1. Read the page provided by the University on how to register for information about University of California policies and to access the registration portals.
2. Provide the following Class Number in order to register: 13669
(lecture) and either 14071 or 14072 (recitations;
choosing one or the other is only a formality). You can also find these numbers here.
